Very Little Reverence, Very Little Humility
Love God by being holy, be holy by being humble.
“If you want to be holy, be humble; if you want to be holier, be more humble; if you want to be very holy, be very humble.” - St. Joseph Calasanz
Virtues are habits. Humility is a good habit. Humility lets us recognize the need to abase ourselves in showing reverence to God.
Humility puts us in our place, which inclines us to have reverence to God.
Pride is the exact opposite of humility.
Adoration is the only true condition we can have before God, but it requires humility.
Humility is cased by reverence to God.
Acts of reverence can make us grow in humility.
Showing reverence can be extended to everything that represents God,
Reverence produces humility which removes obstacles that prevent us from becoming saints.
When reverence is lacking there is no humility when there is no humility, there is no holiness. When there is no holiness, there is no love for God.
Ask God for a delicate conscience to be holy.
